I have a Karcher Gas Pressure Washer that I bought in 2005. Honda engine with 2700 psi. It does a wonderful job cleaning. But lately, I’ve had some trouble. Occasionally when I pull the trigger, the high power doesn’t engage. I generally just wait it out, pulling the trigger every single 10 or 15 seconds, and will engage after a while. Yesterday, when this happened, waiting didn’t work. So I removed the nozzle and pulled the trigger with the nozzle off for a couple of seconds, releasing some water. Then I re-installed the nozzle and the high power engaged the 1st trigger try. I repeated that experiment a few additional times later, when the high pressure failed to engage, and removing/re-atttaching the nozzle corrected the difficulty every time.
